About This Role

Life Guide Dairy Limited is seeking an exceptional Head Trainer to lead the academic and practical delivery of our 24-week Professional Dairy Farming Diploma programme. This is a unique role combining world-class dairy expertise with the ability to teach, inspire, and certify the next generation of Nigerian dairy farmers. You will be the primary academic voice of the Life Guide Dairy Academy — shaping how hundreds of students learn, train, and succeed in dairy farming.

Key Responsibilities

-Design, review, and continuously improve the 24-week Professional Diploma curriculum across Level 1, 2, and 3. Deliver practical and theoretical training sessions to enrolled cohorts — both on-site at the model farm and online via the LMS. Conduct live farm practical demonstrations: milking techniques, herd health assessment, forage cultivation, milk hygiene, and parlour operations. Mark and grade student assignments, quizzes, and practical assessments. Monitor student progress and identify at-risk learners for additional support. Mentor and develop junior trainers and Field Extension Officers. Coordinate with the LMS and Digital Coordinator on lesson content, video recordings, and student progress tracking. Support Dutch expert visits — co-facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and document outcomes. Contribute to the Life Guide Dairy Online Radio and TV by participating in expert interviews and live farm demonstration videos.

Requirements & Qualifications

-Minimum 5 years active experience in dairy farming, animal science, or agricultural extension with a strong training or teaching background. Degree or HND in Animal Science, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science, or Education (Agricultural). Demonstrated ability to design and deliver structured adult learning programmes. Strong communication skills — able to explain complex dairy concepts clearly to farmers of all educational backgrounds. Familiarity with online learning platforms (LMS) is an advantage. Fluency in English; Yoruba or Pidgin is an added advantage for community outreach.
